Our next General Meeting will take place Tuesday 29 October at the Southern Sun Ridgeway Hotel. Refreshments will be available from 9:00 onward, and the meeting will start at 9:30.

As guest speaker of the month we are proud to introduce Ms. Maureen Sumbwe. She is the CEO of the Zambia Federation of Associations of Women in Business. The topic of her presentation is: "Making the Case for Women's Empowerment in Zambia".
Special Guests
In addition, we are happy to welcome ladies from Chikumbuso, a grassroots project in Ng'ombe. They will tell us about the work of their organization and sell their products to raise funds (e.g. bags for different purposes).

Contributions to help raise funds for DISA at the Lusaka Hackers Ball needed
Lusaka Hackers will be supporting DISA with all proceeds from an auction and the raffle of a Christmas Hamper! In return, DISA will help with donations for the hamper and the auction.
Please bring your gift for the Christmas Hamper (min value K100) or your prize for the auction (more valuable items, e.g. vouchers, weekends-away, piece of jewelry, etc.) to the meeting.
