DISA Projects Committee would like to introduce all members to Vision of Hope, our new project since June 2022. Vision of Hope works to support young women and girls who, for various reasons, don't have access to safe family care and support. As a non profit organization Vision of Hope works primarily through donations and sponsorship. Their craft program provides an opportunity for skills training. The funds raised through the sales of the crafts at local markets go directly into improving programs and the shelter at Vision of Hope. Through instilling self-worth, empowering, educating these girls are being given a chance to improve their livelihoods and make transformative life choices.
Using funds raised during DISA Charity Golf Tournament our organization was able to support Vision of Hope by donating 10 mattresses and 30 blankets. Vision of Hope is very grateful to all the sponsors.
